Mistake number two.

Double batch of waffles. I should have just made a single batch. Now I have a lot of extra batter after feeding the whole family. Guess I’ll be standing here cooking waffles most of the day.

you can freeze them and use them on another day. So it will save you time another day.

Are you sure? Even if it’s a whole egg, shell and all?

Yup, I feed my chickens eggs shell and all every day and have never had an issue with egg eatting. I wouldn't worry about it

Left an egg on the stairs to the raised walk in coop. (I was collecting them and set it down to refill the chicks feed)

I come back, I think it rolled off and the chickens ate it.



Theyll probably start egg eating soon. All I found was a puddle of egg whites.

Just cause they ate an egg doesn't mean they'll become egg eaters. I accidentally crack eggs all the time, and I always throw it to them. They eat every last drop. Still have yet to have a single egg eater.

My chickens and ducks and turkeys get all the extra eggs. They have never taken eggs out of the nest box's.
