No . Apparently he was hardly malpositioned, but I did the right thing with the safety hole. What might've done the duck in was that I'm still using that old chinabator from a few years ago, and it gets awful temp flukes. It killed about 8 of my eggs last night because it went down to 96F without me knowing it during the night.
