Ok so I bought 3 comet pullets from a local feed store about 3 weeks ago. Two were pretty dark and the other was lighter but had some red stripping on the back. Now that they have grown a little the lighter one just keeps getting lighter. Could "she" really be a "he"?

The one on the left is the one I'm concerned about. She is also pretty aggressive. The other two are pretty sweet but she try to peck my hand every time I try and pet her or pick her up. Not sure if that really is any indication of gender for this type of chicken.

It's in shadow and the angle is not good on the chick in question. Can you post a profile pic of it in good lighting?

Doing this from my phone so this is the best I could get. No flash this time. Hopefully it helps?

The head is a little darker as you can see but body and wings are pretty white/very light. So it's throwing me off. And these are my first chickens ever lol. Though if it's a rooster I'm not sure what I'll do since I live in a neighborhood and pretty sure the neighbors wouldn't be happy about crowing.

Thanks for posting the profile pic. Given the profusion of white feathering and the larger comb, I'd say you have a male. :o(

Oh man. That's what I was afraid of. Is it easier to sell a rooster when he's bigger? I'm going to contact the feed store and see if they offer anything (didn't think to ask when we got then lol).
