Sooooooo… my 22 week old pullets are acting like they are getting ready to lay their first egg, my concern is.. my original flock keeps moving them around and won’t allow them to sit in a nest box!!! I have two separate henhouses for them to choose from.. will

Once they lay, they will rise in status. In fact, now, I am betting you have a main flock, and a sub flock of pullets. And it is probably very evident.

One day soon, you will go down, and that will be gone. They will just be one flock, and everyone will be laying ...or molting.

Will the original flock allow them to lay in one of the nest boxes ? Cause right now the big girls keep moving the pullets around

In my experience, there's a sort of truce when it comes to nesting boxes. Everyone kind of accepts anyone, as long as you can
fit. But that is just my flock. A higher ranking hen/pullet can remove a lower ranking female from a nest box while she's in there or if she's interested in laying herself, but I personally find it hard to believe that a female would go out of their way to keep a new laying pullet out of the nest box

You might have a few oops - where there is an egg in the run, or somewhere else not in a nest. But that can be an accident on the pullets part too, she really does not quite know what is going on. I am thinking your pullets may still be a week - two out from laying.

Even if there are few goofs - it will settle itself down.

My Sapphire Olive Egger is checking out nests boxes for a couple of days now, she is constantly singing that “I need to lay an egg” song .. so pretty confident getting close! When I quit stalking her, that’s when she will lay lol!
