Commander got stuck in fence, Colonel attacked him

I went out to see if our 2nd female laid an egg yet today and found Commander's head and wing stuck in the fence near yard door. Aside from a few feathers pulled on his neck and head, he's full of energy.
My dad put some bag balm on the areas that were red.
The part of the fence that he got stuck in was already being worked on but I assumed I had it covered for when I'm not out there working on it. I feel terrible that this happened.

I have NutriDrench and Sav-A-Chick packets in case they're needed.
Anything else I should get to give him?

I'm only looking for stuff to feed/give him. Not stuff to put on him.

Sorry to hear this! You may want to give some electrolytes to help with shock. He may be full of energy, but that might just be nerves.

Just keep an eye on him and tell Colonel he won't get his new girl if he doesn't behave.
