Common Horse Colorings?

I feel the same way!! I have horses and a ton of other animals and I'm constantly researching lol
Yeah same hahah I especially love researching/reading all things dog related 😂🤣 training, different breeds, etc. I have soooo many breeds I want :lau :hide

1.Bay
2.Chestnut
3.Sorrel
4.Black
5.Palomino
6.Buckskin
7.Dun
8.Gray
9.Roan

10.Pinto
Sorrel and Chestnut are the same color. Western riders call them sorrel and everyone else calls them chestnut.

I would also do a paint!! That would cover any multiple colored breeds.
No, Paint would only cover 1 color breed. The paint. As Paint is a breed it cannot be used for other breeds. You may mean pinto but you said Paint.

Are the different horse breeds actually like different shapes or could I use the same bases and just do colors
Said bases
(sorry that they're sideways) (also sorry the first one only has one eye)

Is paint (is that what it's called?) common?
I have a Tobiano paint. @Overo Mare has an Overo Paint. There are other types of paint horses, that are a mix between the two but I think that Tobianos (at least in my experience) are more common than the rest. There’s also pinto which is any horse breed with the color pattern a paint has. however, a paints are a breed. For other horse colors, try blood bay/dark bay, chestnut/sorrel white/grey/flea bitten and black. There’s also palomino which Is fairly common.
