I'm looking for a decent wall feeder that will feed up to 16 birds. The best looking ones so far have been from Stromberg's. Does anyone have experience with any of these or would recommend something different?

If you have any carpenter skills it is pretty easy to build a feeder similar in style to the third one from wood. I built one in about an hour. I used 5/8" plywood and 2" x 2" in the corners to screw the plywood to. The wood was all scraps I wanted to use up. Therefore, it did not cost me anything. I built it large enough that I do not have to refill it frequently. It holds about 150 pounds of feed. This is much larger than I needed but I preferred too big over too small. My 18 chickens are about 8 - 9 weeks old and eating lots of fresh grass right now. They have not eaten much of the 100 pounds of feed I put in it a couple of weeks ago. At their current eating rate this might last until it is time to switch to layer feed.

I need to get some pictures of it so that I can post them. I got the idea from other posts I have seen on this site. Try using the search.
