Competition Dogs Thread

Prioritize the ones you like best, the ones he likes best, and the ones he does best. That'll give you the most personal satisfaction reward for your time and effort.
We’ve already got that down- he loves all of the things that I’m training for, he isn’t struggling majorly with any of them, and I’m enjoying the process as well. I just need to be more consistent with working on things.
That being said, tricks will probably get more attention because they’re quick and easy, and I don’t have much time for several nights of the week.
 
I just realized that the full setup of competition gear for Finn that I want (leashes and collars, harness, and decked out car crate) is upwards of $800 🥲
 
I'm guessing that's the most expensive part...? Can you leave that for last so you can do more of the training/competition, or do you have to have that too?
I’d like to have it before trialing, because I want to be confident that he’ll be safe on potentially long trips to trials, and also look like I mean business, not some kid who doesn’t know what she’s doing
