Competition Dogs Thread

Heading out tomorrow to be course builder for the weekend agility trial. And for every weekend in February, too. Probably March too, but not looking ahead that far.

I'll be running my veteran agility sheltie, 11 years old and still beating the competition. Already has a MACH several times over, and currently working on her PACH. Wish I would have finished her in the breed ring, but she needed to be spayed since she was coming in season every four months instead of every six!

She is so beautiful!! So cool that she's doing so well in agility!

My corgi's breeder has an agility barn- each agility picture that I see pushes me closer to caving and trying it with Finn

You can train at home- PVC is super cheap and you can make jumps and weaves out if it, and I've seen some people make mini dog walks and teeters!
I did... But I'd like to compete:p

I had wooden jumps... Thought I never tried weaving. Have to try that with Lexie. She's still young and eager to learn

Thanks! I was not thinking about doing it straight away. She has to learn the basics first
Important foundations are impulse control and remote commands, and you can teach different types of crosses and stuff
