completed my chicken crate/birthday gift

I finished the transport crate for my Mom's birthday. Thanks for all the advice!
It turned out costing about $40 in materials because I had to use "hobby" boards to get the size I needed. Maybe some day I'll have a table saw and can rip what I need. I used 14- 1 1/2x3/8x24, 2- 1x1x24 square dowels, 1- 24x24 luan sheet. I did line it with the rubber shelf liner. I decorated the top with some silver pheonix's because she used to raise them and has ordered some more. Well I think she'll like it. Now I want one, but brahma sized.

Very nice work. Last time I transported chickens, it was in a cardboard box, in the backseat of my Honda.
