Composted Pine Needles

Yeah, Pine Barrens are a whole separate thing. We have pine barrens here in Plymouth/Carver Mass and I think there is one in Wisconsin or Wyoming but true pine barrens are a rare and unique habitat/climate/environment.

What I have in my yard is we are set back in the woods on almost 3 acres but connects to more acreage but we're in a town home/condo development, only house they left, and there's a street behind us. So basically broken woods in the area. But it is all massive pine trees but we have some oak and/or maples growing and we get shrubs or random green stuff growing all over. Not sure what it is. Might take pics or video and post cause I'm curious. Makes it a pain to walk in. And soil looks pretty rich/fertile as opposed to sand like in the barrens and it seems like a different kind of pine so idk
