Composting (not really a Hobby, but have questions)

This probably sounds dumb but... Is there anything that is unsafe to compost/add to a compost pile? I have to clean out a fridge and was hoping to toss it all, if possible into the compost pile. no idea what all is in there but I think there is some seafood(shellfish) and other meats.

if there is, and i add them to the pile, is there something i should buy to mix into the cmopost pile? like agri. lime or something?

Usually, the recommendation is to not put meats or a lot of fat in a compost pile.

Right. No meat, no fat, no grease, no bones, no dog or cat poo, in fact no poo from anything that eats meat.

It'll break down quicker if you chop it all up. I have noticed that avocado skins can take forever to break down! Make sure you mix in dried organic material like leaves or shavings or dried grass clippings too.
