i have a chick who is the most curious out of the bunch and has been pecking nonstop along one side of the brooder for an hour, there is nothing specific she is pecking at either.
is something wrong?

Very normal. Better the wall than her mates. She's just overly fixated on pecking things.

Try hanging an apple or carrot. It will give her something productive to pick at.

Make sure you have grit available if you do this, but i agree that this is a good solution.

My chicks are 3wks old. Is it ok to given them a carrot or apple? These are my first chicks and I'm just trying to keep them alive! I thought I could only give them mash until they were ready to go outside.

Its fine as long as you also give grit (dirt, sand, or granite chick grit)
