I am sorry if I am in the wrong place but I am very concern about my baby turkey. It appears that his back side ( where he uses the bathroom from), is protruding out it is about the size of a small pea ( possibly a little smaller than that) his backside is ALWAYs wet. I thought he was sitting in the water bowl. He seems a little more quiet and lonely then the other two turkeys that are in there with him. Is this bad, and is little fluff going to die?? Is there anything we can do to fix this problem?? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

How old is your turkey? Is the protrusion pink? If it is, this sounds like prolapse. Isolate the turkey, and apply Preperation H or Bag Balm to the protrosion, then, wearing gloves, push it back into the turkey, gently and slowly. By the way, baby turkeys are called poults. Good luck!
