I have a young white Silkie pullet which hasn’t started laying yet, she recently had a case of leg mites and we have been treating her for that, but she seems decidedly less beautiful than she used to be. I’m worried that she might have another sickness? This is what she used to look like;

And this is what she looks like now, even after a bath yesterday.

Also I noticed some crusty skin on her undercarriage - can leg mites move up to the body or must that be something else?

she just look dirty, maybe give her some eggs for calcium and keep a close watch. I would check her body for mites

My poor Silkie just died today! She seemed to be happy, eating and drinking normally, although Friday night she seemed a little extra thirsty. I gave her me extra water plus some electrolytes mix and put her back in the coop. Saturday she seemed normal but the weather was very wet and she got a little wet outside. Then this morning my son tells me he saw her in the coop not very active, then by the afternoon she was gone.
does anyone have any idea what it could have been? She recently had leg mites but I thought she had recovered.

im sorry, try to keep a close watch on the rest of the flock and if another one becomes ill try to take it a to a vet if possible unless you figure out how treat it.
