Concerned about button quail babies

It's night here, and we live a good hour from town. If I pick him up, he'll tip his head back in a contorted way. He's opening and closing his beak, I doubt he'll make it...
 
The reason I've found for lethargic button chicks is that they aren't warm enough. I'd tuck it into a blanket or cloth against the hot water bottle to trap heat around it. It needs warm air right around it or it will get chilled. Being so small they chill so quickly and easily.
 
Sadly the poor baby died. The other three look healthy, and are sleeping soundly. I'm sorrry for the trouble.
Aw. I'm so sorry. It seems quail just have a high mortality rate as chicks. You didn't trouble any one at all. Just remember he isn't suffering anymore. :hugs It was not your fault either. So don't blame yourself
