We got farm fresh, fertile eggs four days ago, the day they were laid. I put them in my heated blanket on the first night to keep them warm until the incubator arrived the next morning. I've read many forums on here and made sure my temperature was right and I had the correct amount of water for humidity and then I placed 6 eggs. However, I got anxious and candled them today (day 3 of incubation, day 4 since laid) and found no veins or anything that would suggest they are viable and growing so i'm really concerned, especially since this is my first (attempted) hatch. :/ The eggs look like a big mass at the top and its gets a little more clear to the bottom and then the air sac in good condition. I'll try to get pictures up here tomorrow, but I'm wondering if someone can give me some insight on what's up with them? Do you think maybe my blanket was too hot and cooked them or something?
