Usually at 5 weeks old my cockerels get big red combs.....but these guys are tricking me a bit.

Roughly 5 weeks old, mixed breed. Still thinking pullets but it would be nice to have reassurance since my last batches of chicks have all been boys.

I would say pullets, but take my advice with a grain of salt. Chickens are really hard to tell their gender, but I feel like they are probably pullets :D

    Out to pasture
at this point in time they are pullets, if they suddenly develop red, larger combs- current opinion will go down the tubes. Bird in last photo appears to have sore on left foot/leg- maybe check for mites??
