Confused as to what breed this chick is, please help!

My 9 year old daughter was given this chick. We were told it is 4 weeks olf no idea on the breed though.

Does anyone have any idea about what it is/what gender?

Cute picture, but it'll be easier to help you ID the breed if you get a nice side profile shot of the chick in a natural standing position that shows the whole bird with nothing else blocking the view.
