Confused goose or confused gander????

Oh a Cream, now that's a possibility. I know he's not a Lilac and though the Buff photos I recently saw were the same color as he is, I have seen more Buff photos with much darker birds so maybe he's a Cream... I think he finally made "contact" with a goose for the first time this week because today he is acting like my Gray did at the start of hormone season, obnoxious, even picking on his very best friend who he has been so protective of, my White Sebbie gander. This Cream boy does act somewhat neurotic but I'm thinking he will settle down in a couple of years, he's only 2 now. I separated him for the night because he wasn't going to let the others sleep. The Gray did the same thing at the start of the season and I had to separate him at night for a few weeks, he is all settled down now that he has established a real bond with a goose. Hopefully the Cream boy will relax over night, I hope he chooses a mate soon. There are more than enough to choose from. My White Sebbie loves my largest Embden and she likes him. If the Cream only wants Sebastopols then he will have to wait until I get a female. He was supposed to be my girl, woops!

Sasa you will know when you start using him for breeding if he is s true Buff or if he just might be a cream Sebastopol. I know that Dave Holderread said if you breed a lavender to a buff you will get creams. That is all I know about cream breeding. Other than that Pete is the expert on color genetics....

What do I get if he mates with a Toulouse??? LOL

I will have a couple of Sebastopol geese one day, maybe he will like them. There were two white Sebbie geese at his last home, I have to wonder if he had bonded with one of them. The owner did not think the Gray had and she thought this boy was a goose, but maybe in his mind he had made his choice...and then I took him home thinking I was getting a M/F pair.
