Not sure what they are, but even if they were cornish (they do have some massive legs) you'd be fine. The actual breed cornish live healthy lives. It's the cornish crosses (they feather out white) which do not live much over a year.

Yeah they have thick legs. But i didn't think Cornish have that kind of markings.
