I have 3 serama hens, all 1 year old. Also I have a serama pullet of about 6 months. None are laying. I have had the pullet since she was about 2 months and the hens for about 2 months. They are all healthy except my serama rooster was sick a couple weeks ago but he's all recovered now and I dont think it has spread to other chickens. When I first got them I hd them in a large uhaul box(bad I know but it was about as big as those hutches people have them live in!) for the first couple weeks. Atleast 2, maybe all of the older hens were laying 2-3 eggs a week. When I moved them to their own Omlet brand Eglu, like 6 square feet run space, and 4 square feet coop space(just guessing, could be more or less). At that point not a single egg. My serama pullet I got before that but I just moved her to the serama coop today and they seem to be getting along, aside from some slight hostility in the beginning. But I am carefully watching them. Originally I had the hens on layer feed, but switched over to chick feed about 2 weeks after they stopped layer. I live in near Seattle so I dont think it could be too cold of weather, its in the 80's right now so I know it could be a little hot but my other 3 hens are still laying so I'm assuming its something "wrong" with the seramas. Anybody have ideas?
Thanks!
