Confused?

I was looking for some Buff Ameraucana hatching eggs to try. I found someone, but their chickens had really light legs, and the rooster had white legs. The seller is advertising them as true Ameraucanas. I looked up pictures, and a bunch of White legged Buff Ameraucana chickens came up. The only time I found some green legged ones was on the ameraucana alliance club. Is this normal for this particular variety, or are all of these birds Easter Eggers? Thanks!

Blue or slate if i recall but others may know more june knows their stuff maybe she can help ya more especially when it comes to ee's and the like or better yet between the true, false advertised/mixed up reasonings.

Buff do tend have lighter legs than other varieties. It's not a huge fault, but the blue is more desirable. Yellow or green legs would be a disqualification.

So it would likely cost point deducting in a show correct?

But feathering, type, color, comb etc are what one would be after more so.

Thanks, I was just confused, since I know how Ameraucana have slate or blue legs, then I saw the light legs in almost all of the pictures online. Thank you again!
