Yesterday, we unexpectedly list one of our flock. She was found right inside the door to the coop, and she looked perfectly healthy. She had not been pecked, all her feathers we're still attached, she was just gone. Had anyone else had this happen? Any ideas as to what may have happened? Should I be worried for the rest of my flock? They were all purchased from TSC on 3/24, and they all seem healthy and happy. She was fine at about 12, and when the wife went out about 4, she was gone.

I've had something similar happen twice both times with Polish. One looked like it may have had a broken neck and was dead when I found it. The other was alive but unable to stand for long and soon passed, likely a similar spinal cord or neurological issue. My issue I believe is from other birds jumping from the roosts and landing on the Polish. Your issue might be a similar freak accident, it doesn't sound like a disease but keep on eye out.
