Hey y'all! I have been raising chickens for years now, but I have a new challenge. I have a hen that sounds congested and snotty. Poor Nancy
I use Rooster Booster's: Vitamins/Electrolytes/Lactobacillus in their water, and have been treating her with VetRX. I read that Tylosin is good for congestion in chickens, but it requires a script from the vet. Any advice on natural or other OTC options? I only have a flock of 7 currently. 6 hens and 1 rooster. I have sprinkled table scraps and treats with oregano and turmeric as well. I read that they possess certain antibiotic qualities. Thanks in advance for the help!
