Hi there.

I think my dove has conjunctivitis.

I need for someone to explain to me what to do and the exact names of the medication please.

Thanks in advance.

The skin around the eye looks very raw, is it scratching a lot? Have you checked for mites? I’m concerned about the red wattle as well, looks like it might’ve been bleeding?
It doesn’t look like it has conjunctivitis from my brief research online but I’ve been wrong before :idunno

thank you for giving us some of your time!

no scratching at all.

yes it’s blood and i saw it for the first time today. the area has been getting better and worse by days.

at the beginning he had like crying eyes and then the feathers started falling.

how i check for mites please?

The mites are unbelievably small but fortunately it seems like you have a predominantly white bird so they should stand out easier. Check where the feathers meet the skin and in hard to reach areas on the birds body.

But because you said there's no scratching I'm not sure what it could be. From the photos my initial impression was the pigeon may have been itching itself raw which would explain the blood and feather loss. Is the skin raw or red anywhere else? I would offer the bird a bath to try to get it to clean up the area a little bit more so someone more experienced can tell what's going on and al. There's a fairly common disease called pox that produces growths on the pigeon's face but it doesn't really look like what's going on with yours either.

No problem! That rules out the bird damaging its face, it’s hard to stand on one leg and use the other to scratch when you only have one to begin with ;)
I’m sorry I don’t know what to suggest. I know in poultry there’s numerous species of mite that attack everything from their respiratory system to the scales on their legs. Maybe that’s what’s going on here. If you haven’t treated the bird for external parasites before it wouldn’t hurt just to try it, there’s plenty of different medications online usually in the form of liquid drops. Ivermectin is popular. I’m happy to hear though that his health otherwise seems alright. This to me says that this issue is probably based from an external parasite or some sort of skin condition because it seems to me that most infections and diseases would produce more negative symptoms.

I just realized this is the same pigeon from your other thread with the possibly infected amputation site. How’s he doing now? Is he able to stand and clean himself up now? I will be fully honest with you and say that based on my observations in your previous post I would consider culling this bird for his own well-being, but if he is eating well and mobile enough to take care of his basic needs then there is hope
