Not much free rangin' going on lately I'll wager. Unless the little egg factories can dig through the ice and snow. Even then it would be tough to pull a worm out of the frozen earth!

Yeah MommaHen, I guess coons and possums don't really hibernate. Same with skunks. I just last week saw a mother possume going somewhere in broad daylight with 2 baby possums on her back. Unusual. Not to mention the coyotes... There's a bunch of good coon and possum recipes on the 'net. I've already tried the Groundhog fricasee, delicious!
