Hi Beth! Thank you for having us over to visit! We really enjoyed meeting you and your husband and seeing your beautiful chickens (especially the Silkies!) You are welcome to come and visit us any time! We're only about 15-20 minutes away. The coop progress is on my BYC page. I did make medium and large aprons too - just have to have someone hold the chickens so I can try them on them! Then I'll be sewing more feed bag totes and chicken diapers. Thanks again for everything! We had a great time!

no problem beth. i will help you anythime. now only if you told me you were selling that cute cochin girl! i woudla bought her today and you woudnt have to do the auction thing and ship her. but i bid on her anyhow. maybe i will win her and pick her up in a week or two. and i dont care about the gloves and mask joke. i just dont like breathing in feathers and dust and getting sick. that woud be my luck.

Okay, I didn't even know what horizon shipping boxes even were, so I opened another tab and did a search. [I don't breed or ship chickens, so had no need to know before now.] I found the company that originated them, Horizon Micro-Environments http://www.hm-e.net/ ), clicked Distributors, and found this:

NE Pigeon Supplies
Tony Patti
Preston, CT
(800) 440-0783
a PIN has to be entered, 1030
www.nepigeonsupplies.com

I see it's on the other side of the state, and I don't know if a pigeon supply place would work for chickens, but they are a supplier in CT, so it's a start. Hope it helps.
