I'm in Southington, CT. Would anyone be interested in a SLW hen a little over a year old? Need to sell her to downsize a bit for a couple of bantams.

Hi Shelly!
Another buff orp is tempting....

Let me ask my brother-in-law..
They had 6 and lost a Dominique to a hawk...Maybe they would like to get back up to 6...Plus they are about the same age. You selling or giving away? (They live in Durham BTW)

Good morning everyone,

I am selling her for $15.00. If you know of someone who may be interested, just spread the word.

Thanks

Jenn

I'm building my first coop and run. I've been able to use some scrap wood from work. (We build wooden shipping crates). I'm hoping to use a bunch more this weekend to make nexting boxes. We have plywood...sorta thin and 4X4's. Of couse these are scraps, but some pieces are very good size. Just wondered if anyone is close to me and is interested in anything? I've seen alot of really nice coops that people have put together from all kinds of stuff lying around. And I'm quickly learning how expensive all this is! Anyway, if you are at all interested PM me.

New Chick I tried the coffee chaff but I don`t like it. I have a big bag left. Let me know if you want it otherwise I`ll just put it in the compost pile.

I read that and that's what I use now. It''s great. I called the place in Bethel first and someone beat me to the punch - they already save it for another chicken person. I found a place in New Canaan that saves it for me now.
