Connecticut!

Ya I understand that but I have an older flock and month old chicks so kinda want something close to the younger ones age, because I've got an established roo now so I want them younger so there's very little problems.

If Anyones interested in ducks I was at tsc in barkhampsted today and they had some kaki cambells if that's how you spell it?Don't know not into ducks, but I have to say they were kinda cute and tempting they were a chocolate color.

Any one have experience with the Hovabator still air model incubator? I am thinking about getting one... wondering if it is just as affective as the more expensive models as long as you have the time and inclination to turn the egss.

you can buy the egg turner to go with it as well. I am on my third batch of Quail due to hatch this Friday. I like it. Easy to use but sometimes hard to keep it steady on the temp as long as the house stays pretty even temp wise.

Just wanted to throw this out here.

I visited www.cameronfamilyfarm.com this am, to place an order, DEFINITELY check them out! Chicks of different breeds ready to go! Nice set up , NPIP certified, very nice to work with, I'm so glad there is now someone close by to get chicks from..I HIGHLY recommend them! They are in East Haddam

Thanks for posting that! I'll definitely consider using them. And from their website it looks like they process turkeys too!

I got a Little Giant Circulating air incubator today at Agriventures in Danbury... $79.... pretty much looks the same as the hovabator. Not as nice as my mini brinsea but I have a double order of eggs arriving... the store manager saw me eying it dubiously and gave me $10 off. My eyes seem to have gotten a little bigger than my incubator capabilities. I have a lot of 10+ and 8+ cream legabar hatching eggs from separate breeders arriving this Friday... Wish me luck! I also have the brinsea full of my own eggs. 3 weeks seems like an eternity.

Benedicts Home and Garden in Monroe has australorps... call to check , but there order sheet says thru the 12th. 203-268-2537 They also have buff orps, sl wyandotes and and speckled sussex as well as other standard fair. $3.99 ea/ 6 chick minimum. Agriventures in Danbury has nothing, all sold out for the season.
