Hi All!

I'm Kristen from Clinton. I'm spankin new to chickens. Got my first 5 chicks last Saturday at Shagbark Lumber in East Haddam. So far I am in love! And a bit obsessed! And a bit neurotic... Then on Friday I bought a Blue Silkie. LOVE LOVE LOVE her!

1 Rhode Island Red born 3/25/13 - Lucille Red
1 Black Sex Link born 3/25/13 - Sue
1 Ameracuna born 3/25/13 - Andy
2 Barred Rocks born 3/25/13 - Emily & Erin

All supposed to be female. Lets hope! My favorites so far are the silkie and the RIR. They love me!

Silkies are fun. Mine make me laugh. They waddle around making funny noises.

Thanks. She's a project bird from Beth G. She's half Lavendar Orpington and half giant cochin. She mostly looks like lav orp, but her tail is a bit cochiny and she has partialy feathered legs. She knows she is pretty too.

If you are willing for them to be a bit older I'm sure someone will have something for you. Some times people don't realize what sex they are till 5-8 weeks when it's obvious.
