Hi Jen!,
Yes, I decided on a Barred Rock rooster. It was a tough call between a Buff Orpington or the Rock. I am getting a mix of birds.
SPECKELED SUSSEX.
SILVER LACED WYANDOTTES
PARTRIDGE ROCKS
BARRED ROCKS
WHITE ROCKS
BLACK AUSTRALORPS
BUFF ORPINGTONS

all will be here on or about the 19th!

Thanks for the comment on coop. It has been fun building it. I just can't explain how excited I am to get the chicks!

i want to know where you got your eggs/chicks. I am getting speckled sussex and i cant find many places to get them. just telling you, buff orpingtons are awesome. I have 13 hens that are pretty good layers that will follow me around the yard and will let you pick up and cuddle

Im feeling ok...... I actually made 12 zucchini flower fried caked today........I ONLY had a couple bites.....fried food IS the WORSE thing I could eat right now, I made em for my fam, I couldn't let emgo to waste....Thank you everyone!!!!!.....time to have some eggdrop soup ***BLAH****
