Another victem of chicken math!!
Had 4 oldish girls this winter, got a pair of cream legbars in the spring, couldn't resist 6 prod. reds from tractor supply (they said they were RIRs but they aren't). Just hatched out 6 cream legbars. suddenly, I have 18 chickens!

I'll ask about organic again next time I go - probably on Sat.

I haven't been to a Tractor Supply in eons so I can't answer that question.

Okay this is definitely our strangest post. These evening our shelter manager was called by the police to a home in Yonkers. Upon arriving to the home our shelter manager found 5 dogs which are now in our custody. And 100 chickens a rooster and 2 ducks. In ll her years working in animal control she has never seen anything We have been given 48. Hrs to place the chickens and ducks or they will be slaughtered. If anyone knows anyone that can take these chickens nd ducks please contact us -at [email protected] or call 201 981 3215.​

My friend who told me about it is in contact with them and is trying to get info on what shape they are in etc. It's so sad, but we'll see.
