Connecticut!

I rake up as much as I can in the fall and bag them and make it last all year. Every time it snows I dig out most of it and then throw a new layer in for the girls to walk on. They break down slowly. I add half a garbage bag every so often and if I do it right I have enough to last till the next fall when they start to drop again. besides, it's not good to leave them on the lawn and too much in the compost pile changes the Ph too much. I use them in the nest boxes too.

I had those in there already but they already got absorbed into the ground, dry leaves work excellent and I have plenty but the reason I don't want too use them yet is cause I know it's gonna snow again and I usually snowblow some paths in the run and I don't want all that

garbage going through my machine.I usually rake an area where I'm going to using the blower in the fall"I'm very compulsive things have to be done a certain way".
