Connecticut!

Wow, those eggs are beautiful!

Can't wait to hear about the hatch! :jumpy

Are you using a commercial incubator or a home built one?

I'm using a Brinsea Octagon 20 Advanced with an added humidity control module. I also have 3 Brinsea Mini Advanced incubators. I work during the day, so I needed something that I could set and forget. Although, I've found that the displayed temperatures could be off a few degrees so they require manual calibration. Other than that, I am really happy with these incubators. I've never had a zero hatch. The worst I've had is about 30% hatch rate on shipped eggs. Hatching chicks is definitely a learning process! But it's so rewarding... And also very addicting! :) it leads to chicken math. Lol

if you find you have too many chicks, I'd certainly be interested in "taking them off your hands"!

Here are the eggs I received today (I had to use the flash because the lights in my house are kinda yellow, giving it a green-ish shade). I've never seen bluer ameraucana eggs! :)

The air-cells aren't in the best shape, but I've seen worse. I'm going to let them set until tomorrow night with the air-cell up, then start incubating tomorrow night. Yay! :) I'll post pics when they hatch.

Those eggs are beautiful. I still haven't gotten my first egg :( I can't wait! My girls are 26 weeks old and I'm going crazy. I also wish I could have a rooster. I would love to breed my own chickens.

Thanks. :)
I know the feeling! My marans that hatched in May just started to lay at the end of December, but my EEs who are 4-5 mos old aren't laying yet either... Hopefully soon! Days are getting longer.

I know when it finally happens I'm going to be so relieved. I feel like I'm waiting to find out if I won something! Lol. I am also waiting for the day I don't have to buy another egg from the store.
