Connecticut!

Hi!
Does anyone have any lg breed brown egg layer hatching eggs in central Ct. for sale?

Thanks,
Gary

Hi Gary,

I have two baby Australorp chicks for sale. Three weeks old. They have had the Merik's shot. I got them from mypetchicken two weeks ago. They are very healthy and cute! They are excellent egg layers. Hardy in winter!

Does anyone local have an idea where I might look to find some pullets in the Barred Rock and Buff Orpington breed…….or a few breeds to chose from.

Thank you.

Good news everyone! The toulouse goose from Hubbard Park has been rescued! I know someone who is going to take the muscovy too.

The person who rescued them called the officials in charge of the park and was told to "go right ahead" and that the park/city does not own the animals. So people are free to take them home, you don't need special permission or anything.
With that said, anyone interested in a free flock of geese?

I don't know which of these are male or female but I assume its a mix. They are all tightly bonded and should go together!

One!

Two!

Three!
Four!

Five!

and six!

I'm not sure what breeds are in their ancestry. The pink bills and splotches of color made me think Pomeranian. They're pretty calm and more interested in grass than corn or pellets. They don't make much noise. They like people but don't follow them around much.

I have six newly hatched roosters between 2 days and 2 weeks old. Free to anyone who wants to come get them. I am located in Litchfield County Connecticut. Willing to deliver locally.

Anybody interested in a trio of very rare birds? Trio(1m2f) of the very rare Altsteirer available. My focus is now on my Isbars so these beauties need to find a new home! Beautiful coloring and very inquisitive temperaments. They are good foragers and very hearty birds. Medium sized bodies good for the table and prolific layers of nice sized white eggs. This is not a breed you will find at the feed store!! PRICE REDUCED!!!!!! $100 for the trio. Pick up in Sandy Hook. May be willing to meet within a reasonable distance.

I'm not looking for any chickens at the moment but thought I would say they're beautiful. I had never even heard of this breed before.

Does anyone know where I can get a cochin bantam pullet in the Litchfield/NewMilford area? I would love another frizzle!
