I was reading and the gold sexlinks should be fine but the silkies really should be 2 months old so I'm just going to wait another week and then move them outside. I think I'll just take them outside for a little this week when it's in the mid 70s.

I've been keeping a close eye on the weather and it's supposed to be in the 70s most of this coming week with a couple days in the 60s so is it safe to put my 7 week old chicks outside permanently? Or should I wait another week? Also can they be outside now without a heat lamp? I have two silkies and four Gold sexlinks.

If you have something like a Brinsea EcoGlow for them to go under at night I'd say it was fine, otherwise too cold.
