I will be looking to buy some chicks. Not to far from my area though (stratford)

I lost a chicken today. She was fine this AM, ate, up with the rest, and when I came home 4hrs later she was dead. She had not show any signs of being sick.

I found her under her coop, sitting with her head on the ground, ( like she was pecking the ground for food). Her buddy chicken was with her, guarding her.

Willow was her name, and she was my favorite.

I'm so sorry to hear that.

It's the worst, isn't it? I hate to say this, but if I were you I would get an autopsy done to rule out a problem that could spread to your others. Sometimes you get one that is just weaker than the others, but if there is a reason it happened you'll want to learn from it.

Hi do you have any pure buff orp,s or rir,s i am in ct near canton

I will have buff orps but not until probably End of April or May. My stock is very LARGE no kidding. They are exhibition so the boys can get up to like 15 lbs and the birls up to 12 lbs.
