Where are you? I'm in Ridgefield, are we close by?

Congrats Jan12!!! What a great hatch rate and they look very healthy, maybe you would like to get rid of a few hint, hint unfortunately my flock became victim to there very first hawk attack today.I lost a big beautiful black orp and my australorp was injured and is recouping in the basement, have 3 roosters and wasn't enough to prevent it.All this after losing my blue English Orpington earlier this week,no sign of illness was perfectly fine the day before my daughter was petting him on his perch everything was normal then next morning found him lying on the floor no sign of fighting no blood nothing?Needless to say not a good week for the flock or kids........

chicnlove Have a GREAT vacation!!! got your message, email me when it's good for you to come on over:)))

The new TSC is nice, but it's set up the 'opposite" of the other ones around here !  Clothes and such on the left vs the right in the others, I was all messed up!

I'm so mad I had to work yesterday, they had a radio station/giving away hats/shirts/ had a barbeque going..:( I missed it

JAN>  CUTE CUTE babies!!!! what are you going to do with all of them? That's my fear if I hatched, I really wanted to try incubating, but I think I 'd keep them all !!!
Diane

Thanks!! :) I got the green light from my DH to start breeding some rare breeds. I ultimately have plans to create Isabel ameraucanas. :)
I'll keep what I need from the hatches and sell the extras. It's a little hard letting them go, but when you have too many extras, selling them is a relief on my workload and wallet. :)

Oh no... I'm sorry for your loss. We almost had a hawk incident the other day, and I was lucky to have been outside to herd the chickens into their run just in time.
As for chickens, I'm sure I'll have extras. I'll post what I have for sale when the time comes and I can PM you if you want. I'm planning to grow them out for about 8 weeks before I decide which to sell. I'll have pretty and some rare birds for sure :)
