Connecticut!

So question to my fellow citizens of Ct... I know that once my girls start laying (all of them should be in the two months) I'm going to have a surplus of eggs. I have some friends that want some, which is cool... but if I still have a surplus I was wondering if anybody knows anything about donating eggs to the food banks? One of my daughter's school friend's family does this. Unfortunetly, the friend is more of an acquaintance from school, so I don't know how to contact them to ask how they're doing it...

Anybody have any thoughts on that?

Find out where your local food bank is and see about finding a phone number to contact them. I believe you just need to have the eggs clean and in cartons

Hello everyone! I’m over in Enfield, right next to East Windsor. I’ve been looking for some local hens to adopt into the flock, so if anyone knows of any, let me know :D

Not much free in these parts! I’m in the torrington. Area and have been keeping a eye out also. I’m sure someone around town will just find me word of mouth!

Keep your eye out, they may just appear....

Hi Everyone.
I have 3 hatchery polish MALE chickens that I'm looking to rehome. One buff laced, one white crested black, and one silver laced. Photos forthcoming. If you're interested, I am in southwest CT.
