What kind of chicks did you get?

Shoot, now I'm going to have to look-up "ba, ss, and pr". I know the other ones.

From our original batch (they're 9 mos old) we have: 3 Easter Eggers (Lucy, Ethel and Esther), one Australorp (Agnes), one white barred rock (Martha), three Barred Rocks (Marsha, Jan and Cindy), one white Silkie (Freida) and one Buff Orpington (Oprah, she's my favorite). I bought three bantam Cochin Frizzles in January who are 4 mos old now(Monica, Rachel & Phoebe, whose genders are yet undetermined). AND I've got 7 Blue Splash Marans in the bator- woo-hooo!!! Hatching has become an addiction!
Are yours sexed or straight-run? Are roosters OK to have where you live?

We got them from Healthy chicks and more as sexed pullets plus one freebie. I am hoping that we have 10 girls and a boy! East Granby does not have any rules about roosters, we are limited to 30 chickens total. I thought about hatching them to start, but I wasn't patient enough for that:p. Good luck with your hatch! I wish I had ordered some of the dark egg layers! When are they due?

I've got at least three weeks of patience in me, when you're ready for more babies, I'll hatch some for you, just let me know! (Did anyone warn you that BYCers are enablers?!)
My chicks are due to hatch on April 30th. Cross fingers!!!
