Hi,

Did you candle it? I would Use a flashlight and candle the egg to see if any developement has occured and if nothing Take it away. If there is a chance then I've seen it take up to day 24-25. The reason I say this is b/c I think there may have been a day when she was off the nest for awile right? It could of slowed the Dev. down etc...

Let me know

Well, I just candled the last egg and nothing. I'm letting her sit on it tonight, and when I move her into her new digs tomorrow I'll take it. She's such a good mama. I just love to see the little heads pop out of the feathers and then disappear again.

I hope they are girls.

She sounds like a very sweet broody

Good luck with the transfer, hope all goes smoothly!

Byc CT'rs it's quiet today!! You must all be outside giving praise to Mother Nature for the reprieve of Rain and a beautiful Sunshine!!! Make sure everyone you keep an eye on your brooders and bators for Temp Spikes and that your flock has plenty of water. It's supposed to only get higher in Temp's and Humidity from what Mr Weatherman is saying

Busy doing chicken things. Honoria's bumblefoot required another more serious surgery, so she is at the vet.

the chicks are doing well, and climbing all over Mama. We're still working on her new digs, trying to get them in today, but it may be in the AM.

Oh No on the bumble foot girlie!!
And I just love sitting in the yard chair in the broody stall watchin the broody and babies learn together! It's sooo cute and calming in a way

Also busy doing chicken things here. Freida's got an ugly case of Cocci and we finally found some Corid to treat her. Crossing fingers for a quick recovery and no additional patients!

I hope she's better soon

. I'm curious though why not Sulmet instead of Corid? She's older right? Corid is very mild and only treats I think only a couple of strands vrs. Sulmet treats all? What did Uconn say to use? Also did they tell you it's very contagious if that indeed is what it is? I am double fingers/toed crossing it did not spread to the entire flock!!!
