Me too! I hate selling them on craigslist to someone who may know nothing about chickens or won't take care of them. My lav ameracauna is gorgeous too.

My rooster is the funniest guy. He is sooo friendly but loves to go after my daughters toes. The girls stayed on the roost til late yesterday morning, only Hannibal came down. So him and my daughter just walked around the yard together. She found him bugs. She is also gonna be devastated.

I may have someone interested in your chickens. I'm going to her new home this week to assess what needs to be done to the coop on the property and to add more hardware cloth to the run, so I'll make sure it is very secure. How soon do you need to get rid of your birds?

I want to get rid of them by next weekend. I'm just tired of fighting. I have ad on craigslist now, but would prefer a real chicken person.

Well, my husband doesn't particulalry like them, and he promised me a coop forever, and now that I have chickens and they're getting bigger, theres always an excuse. They're living in the shed now, but he doesn't want to build a coop so we keep fighting. He wants them out. I just don't want to fight anymore. It really isn't the chickens, its other issues that manifests themselves into him hating my chickens.
