I was wondering if anyone in CT is looking for some nice SQ/PQ Roosters? I have MANY as you all know!!!! lol

If anyone is interested in the following please let me know. If not all of them will be going to "freezer camp" in October.

Lavender Orp roosters
White Orp Roosters
Buff Orp Rooster
Red/Blue bantie Cochin rooster
Barred Araucana Rumpless clean faced Rooster
Multi-Colored Araucana Rumpless clean faced Rooster
Plymouth Barred Rock Roosters
Splash French Maran Rooster
Heavy Breed Mixed/Breed Roosters

Please let me know. They are all very nice and none as of now have shown any aggression but, most of them are only 3-8 months old.

Thanks,
Beth

Tomorrow is auction day at the Middlefield Livestock auction. Taking the two roos up in the morning. Daughter is trying to talk me into bringing home a pony. She's relentless.

You guys are killing me with talk of ice cream.. RICH's in Oxford is the only way to go. (occassionally they sell raw milk there, too!).

What a great prize, Fuzzy Wunkles

Glad you'all are planning to come to the get-together in October! A sneak peek at the festivities: A CHICKEN DERBY! Just like the Kentucky Derby... but with CHICKENS! Odds will be posted and ladies should wear hats! Can you win the Trifecta? (sorry.. the field of racers is closed and limited to those who know that their coop is in my yard.)

Beth G: if you end up waving the boys off to camp, can I help/watch? I'd like to learn how to do that.

Glad I'm not the only one

over the Ice Cream talk.....lol

Yes you can come and watch and participate if you'd like too

Sometimes one doesn't learn unless it is hands on. I find also too that if you have a great set up and go in with an open mind, most learn alot and don't mind the deed.

Can't wait for the get-together
