I've got a 4mo EE roo that needs a new home. I dont particularly want to advertise him on craigslist, and the only offers I've gotten on the classified section are from people that are out of state.

He's a bit stand-offish, but is coming around (with the proper motivation, of course!). I'd keep him and keep working on warming him up, but I've got too many roos for not enough hens and he's already fighting with my marans mix and crowing more than my neighbors would like.

If anyone is interested- please let me know! He's free to a good home, and I can meet/deliver within 30mi of Norwich.

CT Peeps Get-together THIS SATURDAY!!

We've had a few more RSVPs over the weekend, so it looks like we may have upwards to 40+ peeps coming by for all - or part- of the get-together. I have a couple of folks from Derby who are stopping by just to look to buy chickens, so if you've got birds for sale.. BRING'EM!

From 11-noon we will gather and people can look at birds for sale and negotiate with the sellers. We will eat from noon until the food is gone.
Around 2pm we will have some games and the Chicken Derby!!

Looks like it should be a sunny day! Can't wait to meet you all then.
