LOL oh I see. Yeah if you get a light with a timer that may help. But, I wouldn't push em too much. I think again alot of it is they can't figure out these cold temps at night and warmer during the day deal. Doesn't help either that one day its like 40-50's then the next is 80's!!! Now the news is say high of 40's on Saturday with the possiblity of snow??????????

I hope they are wrong too!! But, it sounds like its only going to be rain with snow showers but, still wayyyyy tooo early to see snow up on the forecast!!!!!!!!!

Yeah the EE's are fussy! They may not lay until spring. I have seen them lay eggs as early as 6 months and then as late as 10 months.

my EEers are my only chicks so far that come running up and eat out of my hand or at my feet, my aunt was here and they didnt really know her and sat on her injured leg.(she got in a head on car accident and broke her femur bone) my adult chickens of course come up, my silkies are still too young to understand and my polishes are idiots lol
