, MillesFollies! We're neighbors, sort of. I'm in New Britain. I have 2 Mille Fleurs; we got them last year along with a bunch of standard-size chicks. At the time, they were a few weeks old, so bigger than the others. (I didn't keep track of when the sizes equalized.

My current so-far-unbreakable broody is my Barred Cochin. I think one of the D'Uccles tried to spend one day/night in the nestbox, last month, but forgot about it soon enough with the promise of time out in the yard, not just the run. (Bella is driving me nuts--I'd love to be able to lend her out to someone who needs a real incubator. I'm not looking for any more chicks at this time.)

Cool water with some ice.
Chilled blueberries, seedless red gapes and strawberries.
Oh, can't forget some plain yogurt!
(I don't spoil my "kids". REALLY, I don't).

I lived in New Britain for 12 years!!! We moved recently because I wanted more room and especially room for chickens! I picked up some fertilized eggs from Beth (thanks again Beth!) on Sat. so we'll see how it goes.
