I am new to chickens, had my coop and hens for 5 weeks now!

Yeah, they are fun. 6 hens is my max tho.. I would have to get a larger coop if I wanted any more... lol

You say that now, but I am planning my second coop right now. It's amazing the chicken logic people come up to justify the eggs or chicks they "just had to get", then the scramble starts to figure out how to make them all fit.

Yeah, they are fun. 6 hens is my max tho.. I would have to get a larger coop if I wanted any more... lol

I just went to Block Island a few days ago and got to pet my first emu at a farm there. Such big beautiful eyes! Such a cute face! Husband says no, though. Oh, the emus and ducks and chickens I'd have if I were allowed......

Still not to sure, I only have a 1/2 acre of land and I am still cautious not to upset my neighboors... lol
