"I can't believe this..." Mel muttered to herself, then went to her table with the sand. "I hate attacking this early..."

Kismet frowned somewhat, but nodded. "Yes. Everyone will need to be more alert, and be prepared to confront Mel."

Not being 100% sure where the council was located, Maddox only arrived in time to catch Kismet's last sentance "Be prepared to confront Mel..." He cursed inwardly at not having found the meeting place sooner and caught the rest of their conversation, but was happy with what he got. If Mel was attacking soon, he needed to be on the watch too.

Incendia sighed and nodded, "I guess the peace will no longer last." Reynardia dipped her head and turned into a middle aged woman in a crouch. She waved to the rest of the animals and left.

Pompona was swaying softly beside an apple tree, hoping the pegasi had followed her, when she spotted the shape of Maddox. "A gryphon," she gasped softly.

Pompona was swaying softly beside an apple tree, hoping the pegasi had followed her, when she spotted the shape of Maddox. "A gryphon," she gasped softly.

Maddox turned around, fishing something out of his teeth with a claw. "What? You never seen a Gryphon?" He was tempted to kill her, she didn't look like a particularly hard target. Naw...

Seeing that the council was leaving. Incendia waved to the phoenix who had found them and took off nervously, her tail on fire.
