Dapple looked around franticly, searching for Lily. "I'll go find them!" he shouted.

"thanks." crystal replied. She looked around, hoping to see a small animal or something. She had always loved animals; when she was younger, she had a pet chickadee that she loved. She hadn't seen one in a long time, and hoped to see one again someday.

"It has to be Mel," Reynardia said, taking a deep breath. Smoke curled around her. "She's attacking."

Incendia stumbled back, like her life-fire was fading. She didn't like it, but there were to many phoenixes to fight on her own. They'd kill her. She had to find the others. She spread her wings and took off, taking one last look at the fires that those phoenixes--just like her--had started.

Sylvia screeched in rage at her, thinking about flying at her again but thought better of it. "Are you alright?" She said, turning to Dysis and trying to calm her temper.

Dapple soared above the lake, almost half of the forest on Mel's side of Penalsain had been burned, and from there it looked like the fire was still going.

Lily continued to try to put the fire out. She was calm, and hoped no one would attack her.

"Yeah," Dysis said. He had some scratches down his side and the top of one of his wings, but they weren't very deep. He swept his good wing across the ground, setting even more grass ablaze.

(I drew a map of Consenia on my computer, the painting feature on it is really bad though.)

"Lily!" Dapple shouted to her. He realized she was trying to put out the fire and flew over to help.

"Yeah," Dysis said. He had some scratches down his side and the top of one of his wings, but they weren't very deep. He swept his good wing across the ground, setting even more grass ablaze.

There were still flames around where Sylvia and Dysis were, but most of the flames were beginning to die down. It had quickly evolved into a full-scale forest fire, nearly scorching the entire valley. Red hot embers and ashes were everywhere, as were countless collapsed trees. Mel's cruel, dark laugh could be heard for miles, all the way to Lake Penalsain. Her plan had succeeded.
